Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026. HardHatMath collects as little as possible and sells nothing. This page says exactly what happens to your data, in plain language.

What we collect

HardHatMath is a static site with no user accounts. The calculators run in your browser: the numbers you type — loads, distances, conductor sizes — are processed on your device to show a result. We do not store them and they are not sent to us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which calculators get used and whether the site is fast, so we know what to improve. GA4 collects aggregated usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — via cookies set by Google. It is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's privacy controls. Analytics cookies are the only cookies this site uses — no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Feedback forms

When you send a message through the error-report form on a calculator page, what you write (plus the name of the tool it came from) goes to the site operator and is used only to investigate and fix the issue. Nothing from the form is shared or sold.

Third parties

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard server logs (including IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site. Analytics is provided by Google. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we do not sell data — to anyone, for anything.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete data about you. Since we hold no account data, most requests come down to opting out of analytics as described above. For anything else, email [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, the update appears here with a new "last updated" date. Questions? Email [email protected] or see about HardHatMath.
